A Home of Belonging. A Space for Joy.

A 2SLGBTQIA+ safe space in Central Washington, where community, care, and celebration thrive.

Helen House is Reopening

We are delighted to announce that Helen House is reopening.

Over the past several months, we have taken time to strengthen the structures that support Helen House and the people and community we serve. This has included reviewing our policies and procedures, strengthening safeguarding and volunteer practices, clarifying staff and leadership roles, and preparing the House for its next chapter.

Our purpose remains the same: to provide a welcoming, affirming space where LGBTQ+ people can find community, connection, and support.

As we reopen, programming will return gradually while our staff and volunteers settle into new systems and routines.

We are also welcoming new and returning volunteers who want to be part of Helen House's future.

We are enormously grateful to everyone who has supported Helen House during this period—and especially to the young people, volunteers, families, and community members who have continued to believe in the importance of this space.

We look forward to welcoming you back.

Why We're Here
